We are Courtney and Kaitlyn! A speech-language pathologist and physical therapist team specializing in pediatrics. We have worked together in pediatrics from the start and established Coconut & Palm Pediatrics, LLC as our next step in providing the best services for our clients. We take pride in our experience and abilities to assess the child as a whole, develop individualized and functional treatment plans, and advocate for a variety of different diagnoses and presenting symptoms. Courtney Romanowski, MS, CCC-SLP, began in this field in 2015 when she worked as a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) in a small, family owned private practice in Potomac, Maryland, after graduating with her bachelors degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. She then went on to receive her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland in 2018. After her graduation, Courtney continued her career in pediatrics in an outpatient private practice in Virginia, where she met Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn Remington, DPT, started as a therapy technician in an outpatient sports medicine office in Guilford, CT in 2016 after graduating with her bachelors from Washington College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She then went on to graduate from George Washington University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 with aspirations to help children of all ages and backgrounds. She then joined Courtney in pediatric private practice in Virginia. Kaitlyn and Courtney were both promoted to managers at their respective offices in the summer of 2020, before deciding to make the move to Maryland and dedicate their time to family focused pediatric therapy services at Coconut and Palm Pediatrics, LLC.
